From the foundational legacies of Akademische Verlagsgesellschaft, Academic Press, Greenwood Press, JAI Press, Johnson Associates, Johnson Reprints, Ablex Publishing, as well as my previous company our name has been synonymous with a singular promise: that the publisher is the guardian of the author’s voice. In my 32 years within this industry, I have witnessed a profound shift.
